Endon Lambeth 69454 Antique Brass and Clear Glass Pendant Light, 20 cm, E27

Endon Lambeth 69454 is a single-light pendant shaped like a glazed lantern. Antique-brass-finished metalwork surrounds clear glass panels, with curved supports rising above the body to meet the chain suspension. The bulb remains visible through the glass, making its shape part of the fitting's appearance rather than a concealed component.

A narrow lantern with an adjustable drop

The body measures 20 cm in diameter and 37.7 cm in height. Overall height can be set between 50 and 190 cm, allowing the bottom edge to be positioned in relation to the ceiling and the space underneath. The suspension uses a 1.2 m chain and a gold-coloured cable. Any shortening must be carried out before the fitting is mounted and connected to the electrical supply, following the manufacturer's instructions.

Consider this narrow, vertical pendant above a smaller dining table or as a single ceiling light in a living room or bedroom. Compare its available drop with the clearance above furniture and circulation routes before deciding where to install it. The lantern framework and antique brass finish reference traditional lighting, while the clear glazing and restrained structure can also sit within a modern interior.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

Lambeth has one E27 socket. The current manufacturer specification lists a 10 W LED bulb, which is not included. Brightness and light colour therefore depend on the light source you select, rather than being fixed properties of the pendant. Because the glass does not conceal the bulb, check its appearance as well as its lighting specifications.

Dimming requires a suitable dimmable bulb and compatible control equipment. The fitting's dimmable designation does not mean that every LED bulb will work with an existing dimmer.

Installation and glass care

This is a Class I fitting and must be connected to earth. The instructions specify ceiling installation and expressly exclude bathroom locations. The glass panels are fitted into the frame during assembly and should be handled carefully. Disconnect the supply before cleaning or replacing the bulb and allow ten minutes for cooling. The manufacturer specifies a dry cloth only, with no liquid or abrasive cleaners.
