When planning the mounting position, consider both the width of the dome and the distance from the ceiling to the lower part of the fitting. This is not a flat panel that sits flush across its entire surface.
The rounded outer surface is black, while the gold-coloured inner face remains visible from below and from the side. Compare this two-tone finish with other metal details in the room, particularly if the fitting will be prominent when viewed from a dining table or doorway.
