Lucide AXI LED wall light white 2×3.5 W IP54 69200/06/31

Lucide AXI 69200/06/31 is a white LED wall light with a cube-shaped metal housing. Openings at the top and bottom contain two adjustable shutters, allowing you to change the pattern on the wall without rotating the fitting itself. Its matt powder-coated finish and straight edges suit modern and minimalist interiors.

Shape the upward and downward beams

The shutters alter the width of the light emerging from each opening. You can create similar beams in both directions, a narrow strip above the fitting with a wider beam below, or restrict the output to one direction. This changes the distribution of the light rather than its colour temperature or the brightness of the LED sources. Keep that distinction in mind when planning a particular wall-lighting effect.

There are two integrated LED sources, each rated at 3.5 W and 160 lm. Their 2700 K colour temperature produces warm white light. AXI works as supplementary wall lighting: upward and downward beams do not replace direct reading light or focused illumination for detailed activities at a mirror.

Allow for a 10 cm projection

The housing measures 10 cm in height, width and depth. Check not only the square area required on the wall, but also how far the front will project into the room. Compare that depth with the position of a cabinet, mirror or door. The fitting can provide an additional accent in a bathroom, living room, bedroom, kitchen or hallway when its position suits the vertical light distribution.

Electrical connection and bathroom placement

The LED sources and driver are included. AXI connects to 230 V and is operated by a wall switch, purchased separately. It is not dimmable. Lucide specifies bathroom use and IP54 protection, but the installation position must still comply with bathroom zones and the manual; the IP rating alone does not permit every location. This class I fitting requires an earth connection. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
