Lucide RITMO black ceiling spotlight, 3×GU10 (MR11), Ø18 cm, 09942/13/30

Lucide RITMO 09942/13/30 is a black aluminium ceiling spotlight with three cylindrical heads on a round mounting plate. Each head can be turned and tilted, so the three light points need not all face the same part of the room.

A compact ceiling fitting with directional heads

The fitting measures 18 cm across and reaches a maximum height of 11.1 cm. Its ceiling plate is 1.8 cm deep, while each cylindrical shade measures 4 cm in diameter and 7.7 cm in length. Compare these measurements with the ceiling connection and nearby cupboards before choosing its position.

In a hallway or corridor, the movable heads let you distribute light towards different areas. In a living room, one head can instead be aimed at a chosen feature. There is no hanging cable or height adjustment: the ceiling position and the angle of the heads determine where the light goes. Three sources alone do not establish how brightly a whole room will be lit.

Choose GU10 bulbs in the MR11 format

Three separately purchased bulbs are required. Lucide specifies GU10 sockets for MR11-format bulbs, with a maximum rating of 35 W per light point, and recommends its 49094/04/30 bulb. The small bulb format matters inside the 4 cm shades; a GU10 socket designation alone does not describe the bulb's size. This is not a fitting with an integrated LED module.

Brightness and colour temperature depend on your selected bulbs. For dimming, use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer, which is not included. The fitting is operated through a light switch rather than a built-in sensor.

Black cylinders for a restrained interior

The circular base and three plain tubes suit modern and minimalist schemes. Consider RITMO for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens or office and study lighting, selecting the bulbs and layout for the intended area. Installation should be carried out by an electrician: this Class I fitting requires an earth connection. Installation materials are included, but the light sources must be ordered separately.
