Mantra CRYSTAL LED 5090 LED ceiling light, chrome, 28 cm, 12 W, 4000 K

Mantra CRYSTAL LED 5090 is a round ceiling light combining mirror glass with a chrome finish. Closely arranged, faceted glass details occupy the centre, framed by a pale ring. Its decorative face sits close to the ceiling: this version measures 28 cm in diameter and 7.5 cm in height.

A mirrored disc rather than a suspended shade

This member of the CRYSTAL LED collection is a surface-mounted ceiling fitting, not a pendant suspended on a cable. Compare its diameter with the clear area around the electrical outlet before choosing a position. The height tells you how far the fitting projects below the ceiling; there is no height adjustment on this model.

The outer mirror ring, visible chrome-finished supports and glass detailing create a more decorative composition than a plain opal cover. The combination of reflective surfaces and regular geometry suits glamour interiors and modern settings where the ceiling light is intended to remain a visible part of the furnishing scheme.

Neutral white light at a fixed brightness

The built-in LED lighting is rated at 12 W and 4000 K. This is neutral white light, with no selection of warmer or cooler settings on this version. The fitting is not dimmable, so plan around its fixed brightness rather than assuming that a wall dimmer can reduce the output.

Mantra distinguishes the complete luminaire output of 1200 lm from the LED light-source output of 1500 lm. Use the luminaire figure when comparing lights for a room; the two figures must not be added together. The light source is part of the fitting, so there is no separate screw-base bulb to select.

Ceiling installation and future servicing

The compact format can provide general lighting in a hallway or corridor, or a decorative lighting point in a living room or bedroom. The number of fittings needed depends on the space and its other lighting. The instructions show ceiling attachment and a 220–240 V supply, not a special installation method for stretch ceilings.

The documentation allows replacement of the LED source and control gear by a suitably qualified person. This is not an ordinary bulb change. Mantra states a five-year warranty for this model.
