Max Light Orlando 5103W/BLNM E27 Wall Light, Black Shade and Satin Nickel

The Max Light Orlando 5103W/BLNM wall light pairs a black fabric shade with a metal body finished in satin nickel. A diagonal arm rises from a rectangular wall plate, which carries a visible switch for operating the light at the fitting. This is the single-E27 version, without an additional adjustable reading arm.

Allow for the shade, not just the wall plate

The overall height is 30 cm and the shade diameter is 22 cm. The manufacturer's drawing also shows a 16 cm shade height and a wall plate measuring 9 cm wide by 15 cm high. When planning a position beside a headboard, shelf or corner, compare the full outline of the light with the available space. The smaller mounting plate does not represent the width of the finished installation.

The shade widens towards its lower edge, while the angled metal arm gives the fitting a distinct profile. Black fabric and satin nickel form separate surfaces: the satin description does not mean a white shade or an entirely black body. This distinction matters when coordinating the light with existing metal fittings.

Choose the bulb separately

Orlando takes one E27 bulb rated at a maximum of 40 W and operates on a 230 V supply. No bulb is included. Light colour and luminous flux therefore depend on the separately selected bulb rather than being fixed specifications of the wall light. Check the bulb's physical dimensions against the space inside the shade as well as its socket and wattage.

A switched wall light for bedside and decorative use

The switch on the base is useful when the fitting is installed within reach, for example beside a bed. In a living room it can provide supplementary wall lighting, while hotel interiors are an application identified by the manufacturer for the Orlando family. This particular version should not be confused with the family's other wall fitting that has an additional movable light.

The manufacturer classifies the design as glamour. Its black textile shade and satin metal details support that description, while the straight edges and diagonal arm also work with modern furnishings. The character comes from this combination of surfaces and geometry, not simply from a black colour scheme.
