Maytoni Dune DIA005CL-06CH is a ceiling light with a chrome-finished metal base and transparent crystal elements arranged on two levels. A waved outer outline surrounds a smaller section that hangs lower, giving the fitting its stepped shape. It has six E14 lampholders and mounts close to the ceiling rather than hanging from adjustable suspension cables.
Check the fixed drop and diameter
The overall height is 25 cm and the diameter is 45 cm. Compare both measurements with the intended position: the diameter describes the area occupied beneath the ceiling, while the height indicates how far the lowest crystals extend downwards. This version has no specified adjustable suspension. The adjustable steel cables mentioned in Maytoni's Dune series information belong to the different DIA005PL-06CH pendant.
The installation drawing shows the base attached to a cross-shaped mounting bracket, followed by the hanging crystal elements. The net fitting weight is 6.4 kg. The separately stated gross weight of 7.25 kg includes packaging and is not the weight of the installed lamp. Consider the fitting's actual weight and the suitability of the supporting surface when planning installation.
Six individually replaceable lamps
E14 lampholders allow each bulb to be replaced without replacing the complete fitting. The instruction specifies a maximum of 60 W for each of the six lamps. Light colour and brightness depend on the chosen bulbs, not on the chrome finish or the appearance of an illuminated product photograph. Check bulb dimensions against the space between the crystal elements as well as checking the cap type.
Maytoni specifies AC 220–240 V at 50 Hz and identifies this fitting as non-dimmable. It should not be described as having integrated brightness control or a fixed colour temperature.
Crystal detailing without a long suspension
The chrome, transparent elements and tiered composition support glamour and classical interiors, or a decorative contrast within a contemporary room. It is worth considering for a living room, bedroom, dining room or formal entrance hall where the stated dimensions suit the available space. Reflections visible in the photographs illustrate the crystal detailing; they do not establish a guaranteed brightness for the whole room.
