Maytoni Float MOD498CL-L13BK1 combines a black metal ceiling base with a rounded glass shade. The smoky glass leaves the central light source visible, while a short connecting piece separates the shade from the canopy. This is the compact ceiling-mounted version, not one of the pendant lights in the same collection.

A glass disc close to the ceiling

The shade measures 20 cm in diameter and the complete fitting is 11.45 cm high. Before installation, compare that projection with the available space above doors and other furnishings. There is no suspension cable, so the position is not adjusted by shortening a hanging cord.

Its small diameter lets you place the fitting over a particular part of a room without the spreading arms or broad structure of a chandelier. In a larger space, however, the number of fittings should be planned around the required light level rather than their physical size alone.
