NORLYS Asker Big 1303WH outdoor wall light E27, white RAL 9003

NORLYS Asker Big 1303WH is a white outdoor wall light with a broad rectangular face and light directed upwards and downwards. Its cast-aluminium housing is powder-coated in RAL 9003. Transparent, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate covers protect the light openings.

Two directions from one E27 lamp

The fitting lights the wall above and below its housing, but contains a single E27 lampholder. Two directions of light do not mean two bulbs. The manufacturer specifies a replaceable A55–A60 LED lamp rated at no more than 9 W. A bulb is not included in the standard fitting and must be selected separately.

The chosen bulb determines the colour and amount of light. This version therefore has no single fixed colour temperature or permanently defined light output. The 9 W figure is a maximum permitted lamp rating, not the consumption of every bulb fitted. Check the bulb dimensions as well as its cap: the installation instructions specify a maximum length of 110 mm. The replaceable arrangement allows the bulb itself to be changed rather than replacing the whole wall light.

Allowing space on the wall

The front measures 30.2 cm across, with a height of 12.5 cm and a projection of 12.1 cm. Compare these dimensions with a pier, the available space beside a door or the position of nearby windows before choosing the mounting point. Up-and-down distribution is intended to work with a vertical surface; it should not be mistaken for broad illumination of an entire garden.

Suitable uses include a house façade, a wall beside a terrace or balcony, and the external walls of a hotel or restaurant. Its plain rectangular geometry suits modern, modernist and minimalist architectural schemes. This article is specifically the white finish, not a black or graphite alternative from the Asker family.

Mounting and electrical requirements

The exact model has IP65 protection and an IK08 impact rating. It operates at 220–240 V and is a Class I fitting requiring a protective earth connection. The specified ambient operating range is −20 to +45°C. Direct mounting uses a 68 mm hole spacing; the intermediate plate uses 45 mm. Select the fixing arrangement and seal the cable entry according to the manufacturer's installation instructions.
