NORLYS Asker Big PRO 5049BL black LED outdoor wall light 2700 K DALI2

NORLYS Asker Big PRO 5049BL is a black outdoor wall light with both upward and downward light distribution. Its rectangular cast-aluminium housing has a powder-coated RAL 9005 finish. The clear, textured cover is made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate. The plain block form, without decorative arms, suits modern and minimalist architecture.

Light above and below the fitting

The two-way distribution is intended for illuminating walls and façades. Allow for the wall surface above and below the fitting when choosing its position, rather than checking only the space occupied by the housing. Exterior walls beside a terrace or balcony are possible locations. This is not a substitute for a spotlight directing all its output towards one point; the mounting position and receiving surface also affect the result.

The integrated LED module produces warm-white light at 2700 K. The complete luminaire delivers 1144 lm, while 1994 lm is the output of the light source itself. Use the luminaire figure when comparing usable output from complete fittings, rather than treating the two figures as interchangeable. Total power consumption is 13.3 W.

Check the wall space and connection

The housing measures 30.2 cm wide, 12.1 cm deep and 12.5 cm high. Compare these dimensions with the available wall space and cable position before installation. IP65 and IK08 describe the enclosure protection. The manufacturer specifies outdoor use at ambient temperatures from -20 to +45°C.

This is a Class I fitting for a 220–240 V supply. Installation requires a qualified electrician. The instructions specify a cable diameter of 7–10.5 mm and an intact cable-entry seal; damage to that seal can reduce the IP protection.

DALI2 control and professional servicing

The electronic power supply supports DALI2 control. A compatible control installation must be planned if you intend to use that system. This is not a fitting for a standard user-replaceable bulb: the LED source and control gear require professional servicing when replaced. The BL code identifies the black finish, which is distinct from the graphite GR version.
