Norlys Astrid 2227CG cement grey LED bollard 2700K 85 cm

Astrid 2227CG is a cement grey Norlys garden bollard with vertical ribs running along its slender body. Warm 2700K light passes through the milky diffuser in the upper section, giving a path, terrace entrance or garden transition a defined lighting point.

Plan a line of light through the garden

At 85 cm high, the illuminated section can sit above low planting. The 14 × 14 cm footprint helps when positioning the fitting beside paving, near outdoor steps or along the route between the house and a seating area. Choose the spacing to suit the width of the route, surrounding planting and any other lighting already serving the space.

The complete luminaire consumes 14.6 W and delivers 334 lm. Use that delivered output when planning the installation, particularly where several bollards will work together. Its diffused light suits the area around the fitting, while the warm colour provides a consistent evening setting beside terraces and places used for sitting outdoors.

A ribbed aluminium body

The housing is made from extruded aluminium with a powder coated finish. Regular vertical ribs give the surface a clear structure even during daylight hours, when the light is switched off. The CG cement grey finish can be coordinated with concrete paving, stone and restrained exterior colour schemes. A milky PMMA diffuser spreads the LED light behind the ribbed screen.

IP65 provides dust tight protection and resistance to water jets. IK10 identifies the housing's impact resistance, helping specify a fitting for outdoor circulation areas with due regard to how the particular location will be used.

Dimming and installation

Astrid supports trailing edge and leading edge phase dimming, allowing its output to be adjusted with a suitable compatible dimmer. The LED module and driver are included, and both can be replaced by a professional service technician. No separate bulb needs to be selected for the fitting.

Provide a stable mounting surface and a protective earth connection for this class I luminaire. Mounting accessories and fixing screws must be obtained separately. Agree the fixing method and dimmer compatibility with the installer before preparing the electrical supply beside the path.
