NORLYS Mora 6461AL post-top luminaire LED 4000 K, light grey RAL 9006, for Ø60 pole

The Mora 6461AL is a post-top luminaire: a 15 cm diameter cylinder held out on a straight arm, finished in light grey RAL 9006. The body is an extruded, powder-coated aluminium profile, and the light goes downwards through a safety-glass diffuser. The LED module and DALI driver are included; the pole is bought separately.

Size and pole mounting

The luminaire measures 46.5 cm from the spigot to the outer edge of the cylinder, is 27 cm tall and weighs 4.93 kg. It slides onto a pole spigot 60 mm in diameter. Norlys gives a lateral surface area of 0.07 m² – the figure to check when choosing the pole, because it sets the wind load at the top.

The factory-fitted H05VV-F 5G1 cable is 6.5 m long and runs inside the pole to a junction box. It is protection class I, so an earth conductor is needed. The 3070XX0009 reducer and other accessories are sold separately.

Light and control

At 17.6 W the luminaire delivers 1735 lm (98.6 lm/W) at 4000 K, which is neutral white. The beam is symmetrical and points downwards, and ULOR 0% means no light leaves above the level of the luminaire – none goes into the sky or into windows higher up.

The Philips driver works on DALI2 and supports NightDim (4DIM). It leaves the factory programmed to maximum current; night-time dimming and other parameters are set by Norlys by arrangement with its sales department. Dimming over DALI requires a DALI controller in the installation.

Build and service

IP65 lets the luminaire stay outdoors without shelter, and IK08 means resistance to an impact of 5 joules. A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland keep it sealed. The Philips Fortimo LED module is rated for more than 60,000 hours (L90B10) and the driver for 100,000 hours. Neither is replaced by the user but by a professional service – Norlys lists the module, the driver and a diffuser service kit as spare parts.

It is intended for lighting driveways, terraces, parks and streets. The plain cylinder on a smooth arm suits a modern style. The Mora family also includes a 3000 K version (6460) and the twin-arm 6466 and 6467.
