Nowodvorski MOD PLUS 9407 White Recessed Downlight, 2× GU10 ES111

The Nowodvorski MOD PLUS 9407 brings two circular lamp positions together inside one rectangular recessed housing. Made from painted steel in white P004 RAL 9003, it belongs to the MOD collection.

Choose the light sources separately

This version takes two replaceable GU10 ES111 lamps. Light sources are not included, so allow for a pair of suitable LED lamps when ordering. The manufacturer specifies a maximum power of 15 W and permits LED only. Check both the GU10 base and the ES111 format: matching the base alone is not enough to select the intended lamp for this fitting.

Colour temperature, light output and beam angle depend on the lamps you choose, rather than on the white housing. For a hallway or living room, decide whether the lighting plan needs a wider spread or narrower accents before selecting the lamps. Two light points do not automatically provide separate switching; Nowodvorski lists one lighting section for this model.

Plan the ceiling opening, not just the outside size

The product sheet gives a length of 23 cm, a width of 12 cm and a height of 8.5 cm. The specified rectangular cut-out measures 11.9 × 23.3 cm. Housing measurements and cut-out measurements serve different purposes, so the installation instructions should guide ceiling preparation rather than the photograph or the overall dimensions alone.

MOD PLUS is a recessed fitting, not a complete surface-mounted box to attach below a finished ceiling. It operates at ~220–230 V and is a Class I luminaire. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Confirm that the ceiling construction can accommodate the recessed installation before choosing its position.

A geometric alternative to a hanging fitting

Straight sides and paired circular openings suit contemporary and minimalist interiors. Consider it within a living-room, bedroom, hallway or office lighting scheme where recessed mounting is possible. The number of fittings required still depends on the room layout, the intended use of the space and the performance of the selected LED lamps.
