Gea Luce OFELIA S/11 MINI FOFSR11M is a single pendant light made from borosilicate glass with a mirrored copper finish. Its rounded lower body narrows into a long, slim neck. Copper describes the glass finish here, rather than a body made from solid copper.
A narrow pendant with an elongated profile
The glass shade is 26.7 cm high and has an outside diameter of 14 cm. Consider both measurements when planning its position: a small diameter does not mean a shallow shade. Compare the glass height with the available space above a bedside table, side table or counter before deciding where the lower edge should sit.
The smooth outline and reflective surface suit modern and glamour interiors. This glass pendant can serve as a decorative point beside a bed or above a living-room table, or form part of a group over a dining table or kitchen island. Choose the number and spacing of fittings around the size of the surface and the light sources you intend to use.
Included holder, separate bulb and ceiling canopy
The manufacturer supplies a white G9 lamp holder and a 3 m transparent PVC cable. A bulb is not included. The assembly instructions specify one G9 light source rated at no more than 28 W. Brightness and light colour therefore depend on the bulb selected; the copper finish should not be read as a warm-white light specification.
A ceiling canopy is also excluded. Allow for selecting one separately when assembling the installation, rather than assuming that every ceiling component arrives in the box. This is an indoor fitting, and installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Caring for the mirrored glass
Disconnect the mains supply before cleaning. The instructions recommend a damp cloth with mild detergent in lukewarm water, followed by gentle drying with a soft, clean cloth. Keep water and detergent away from cables and electrical components. Retain the assembly instructions for future maintenance.
