Gea Luce OFELIA S/12 MINI FOFSAM12M is a single pendant made from transparent amber borosilicate glass. Its narrow neck widens into an angular body, with a pale inner element visible through the coloured outer shell. The layered appearance distinguishes it from a straightforward open glass shade, while the slim suspension keeps the outline uncluttered.
A narrow footprint with a tall glass body
The glass body measures 33 cm high and reaches 13 cm at its widest point. When comparing small pendant lights, allow for that vertical length as well as the diameter: a narrow fitting is not necessarily a short one. The manufacturer's drawing gives a maximum overall height of 300 cm, and the fitting comes with a transparent PVC cable measuring 3 m.
Its compact width makes it worth considering above a side table, beside a bed, or as part of a composition over a dining table or kitchen island. Plan the position of separate pendants around the surface and seating below. Each fitting provides one light point, rather than a complete multiple-light assembly.
Choose the bulb and ceiling rose separately
A white G9 lamp holder is included, but the bulb is not. Select a compatible G9 light source rated at no more than 28 W. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb you choose; the amber glass finish should not be mistaken for a specified light colour.
The ceiling rose is also supplied separately. Include it in your installation planning whether you intend to hang one fitting or several. The manufacturer specifies indoor installation and a 220–240 V supply. Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel.
Transparent amber, not mirrored gold
The clear outer surface, angular profile and simple suspension suit a modern interior. FOFSAM12M identifies the transparent amber version: it is not the mirrored gold finish offered elsewhere in the family. Check that distinction when coordinating several pieces.
