Max Light Monaco C0225 chrome ceiling light 80 cm 16×G9

Max Light Monaco C0225 is a chrome ceiling light measuring 80 cm across, with vertical glass pieces arranged in descending circular tiers. A round metal base sits against the ceiling while the progressively smaller glass rings form a stepped body below it. This version has sixteen G9 holders and is supplied without bulbs.

Allow for the full 45 cm height

Monaco is not a shallow ceiling disc. Its overall height is 45 cm, so compare that measurement with your ceiling height and the clearance needed beneath the fitting. The 80 cm diameter also deserves checking against the width of a dining table or surrounding furniture rather than judging scale from the product photograph alone.

Its ceiling-mounted construction avoids the long suspension associated with a pendant light. However, the descending glass tiers still occupy space below the ceiling. Close mounting should therefore not be mistaken for a low-profile body when planning a position above a circulation route or table.

Choose sixteen G9 bulbs separately

The manufacturer specifies 16 G9 bulbs, each rated at a maximum of 40 W, with a 230 V supply. Bulbs must be purchased separately. Socket count alone does not establish brightness or light colour: those depend on the lamps you choose. Compare lumen output and colour temperature across the complete set instead of treating the wattage limit as a brightness recommendation.

The manufacturer states that a dimmer cannot be connected. Take this into account when planning lighting controls, even if the separately selected bulbs themselves carry a dimmable designation.

Layered glass and chrome

The reflective metal and repeated faceted glass pieces support a glamour-style interior. Consider Monaco for decorative ceiling lighting in a living room, dining room, bedroom or spacious entrance hall. Above a table, relate its circular footprint to the tabletop and check the space beneath the lowest glass tier. Its broad upper ring and narrowing outline are important parts of both its appearance and its placement requirements.
