Maytoni Karolina DIA120-09-G is a ceiling light with a gold-coloured metal frame and transparent, faceted hanging ornaments. Its circular body forms a shallow bowl, with slanting elements around the rim and a stepped arrangement of pendants beneath the centre. The decorative shape sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging from a long cable or chain.
A 51 cm diameter and 27 cm overall height
The fitting measures 51 cm across and 27 cm in total height. Both the current manufacturer page and the installation drawing for DIA120-09-G specify this height. When planning its position, include the lowest ornaments, not just the metal body. Compare the diameter with the available ceiling area and the total drop with the clearance above furniture or a circulation route.
The mounting drawing shows a 30 cm-wide upper section. This is smaller than the decorative bowl, so the area at the ceiling should not be confused with the visible footprint of the complete fitting.
Nine replaceable E14 lamps
Karolina has nine E14 lamp holders, each rated for a maximum of 40 W. Check both the screw base and the wattage when choosing light sources. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the lamps fitted; the gold frame does not determine the colour of the emitted light. Nine holders alone do not establish the total light output.
This is a replaceable-lamp fitting rather than a sealed LED module. Compare the bulb shape with the space inside the bowl illustrated in the instructions, instead of selecting a lamp solely by its base designation.
Placement and decorative character
The gold structure and repeated faceted pendants suit classical and glamour interiors. Consider the light for a living room, bedroom or dining room, or as decorative general lighting in a hotel or restaurant interior. Choose the lamp output separately to match the room size and lighting needs.
Ceiling mounting
The instructions show a mounting bar and separate attachment of the decorative pieces. The specified net weight is 8.4 kg, which matters when assessing the ceiling substrate and fixing. The lowest ornaments form part of the stated height; they are not an adjustable suspension.
