s.luce Atom dimmable LED pendant light, gold, Ø 70 cm

The gold s.luce Atom is a 70 cm LED pendant light built from intersecting metal strips. Its open spherical structure carries 92 small light points rather than enclosing a single source behind a solid shade. A black textile cable contrasts with the gold-coloured body.

Allow room for the whole sphere

The body measures 70 cm in height, width and length. These dimensions describe the light itself, not its drop from the ceiling. Before positioning it above a dining table, compare the diameter with the table width and check the surrounding clearance. Although you can see through the open lattice, the fitting still occupies the full volume of a 70 cm sphere.

Atom is suited to living and dining areas, including a position over the table. The manufacturer also identifies restaurants, hotel lobbies, galleries and stairwells as settings for the series. In a bedroom, its substantial diameter needs deliberate planning rather than treating it as a small bedside pendant.

Warm white light with phase dimming

The included LED sources provide warm white light at 3000 K. The manufacturer specifies a luminous flux of 2484 lm for this variant. Individual light points are distributed around the three-dimensional structure, rather than hidden together in a shade that opens only downwards. The crossing strips remain part of the visible composition when the light is on.

For brightness adjustment, the Atom accepts leading-edge and trailing-edge phase control. The wall dimmer must be compatible with this LED fitting. Dimmability alone does not mean remote control or a variable colour temperature. The manufacturer describes the fitted LEDs as replaceable festoon-type light sources.

Geometry instead of an enclosed shade

The regular sphere and strips crossing in several directions give the fitting a modern, design-led appearance. Its gold finish emphasises the metal pattern, while the open construction leaves the light points exposed to view. Choose this version when the pendant itself should form a prominent three-dimensional feature, rather than conceal its LEDs inside a closed lampshade.
