Steinel XLED home 2 XL V2 with motion sensor

The white Steinel XLED home 2 XL V2, code ST030070, is an outdoor wall-mounted LED floodlight with an integrated LED system and passive infrared sensor. Steinel specifies 20 W input, 2120 lm output and a warm-white 3000 K light colour. Its opal cover softens the appearance of the light. The LED panel swivels through 180° horizontally and vertically, allowing the illuminated area to be directed precisely.

Detection and control

The sensor has a 180° detection angle and a maximum reach of 10 m. Its twilight threshold can be adjusted from 2 to 2000 lx, while the time setting ranges from 8 seconds to 35 minutes. The technical sheet also specifies masking for individual detection-zone segments and sneak-by guard. The floodlight can operate on its own or be wired in master/master or master/slave configurations.

Outdoor wall installation

This model is designed for wall installation at a maximum mounting height of 4 m. Its IP44 rating and −20 to 40°C ambient-temperature range suit façade, driveway, courtyard and garden lighting. The housing and opal cover are plastic, while the HCMC cooling system uses a high-conductivity magnesium composite. The integrated LED source is not replaceable. Steinel declares a 50,000-hour LED life and a five-year manufacturer warranty.
