THORO BISCUIT light-blue wall light, 2×G9

THORO BISCUIT TH.764 is a light-blue wall light with an aluminium cover and scalloped edges. Three rounded sections on each side frame a pronounced central fold. Two G9 sockets sit behind this decorative front. This version takes replaceable lamps rather than a permanently built-in LED strip.

Choose two G9 lamps separately

Light sources are not included, so two G9 lamps are needed before the fitting can be used. Check them against the manufacturer's stated maximum power of 8 W. Light colour and luminous output depend on the lamps you choose: the fitting itself has no fixed colour temperature. Compare the specifications of the light sources rather than treating the warm appearance in a photograph as a supplied lighting specification.

Light blue describes the housing finish, not the colour of emitted light. Other housing colours are available within the collection. When combining several fittings, check the colour and TH.764 article reference for each item to keep the selected finish consistent.

Check the wall space and connection

The housing measures 33.6 cm in height. The technical card also lists a length of 16.3 cm and a width of 5.8 cm. Compare these measurements with the available wall space, nearby furniture and any door movement. Allow for the whole decorative cover rather than considering only the position of the electrical outlet.

This is a 230 V fitting in electrical protection class I. The installation drawing shows wall attachment and a protective-earth connection. The chosen position therefore needs to support the correct electrical connection as well as accommodate the front of the light.

A scalloped detail for contemporary interiors

The repeating curves and central fold remain visible when the lamps are off. They make the aluminium front a decorative alternative to a conventional shade, suited to contemporary interiors. BISCUIT can provide supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom or corridor, or form part of a lighting scheme in a study, hotel or restaurant. Assess overall room brightness from the selected lamps and the other fittings; socket count alone does not establish whether the room is sufficiently lit.
