Trio WACO 627417532 is a round LED ceiling light measuring 75 cm across, with a matt black metal body and a plastic cover. A narrow dark rim surrounds the broad illuminated face, with no hanging cable or decorative arms.
A wide disc with a shallow profile
The fitting is 6.5 cm high. Its width and projection therefore deserve separate consideration: WACO occupies a substantial area of ceiling without dropping into the room like a pendant. Before ordering, mark out a 75 cm circle and compare it with the electrical connection, nearby cabinetry and other ceiling features. The low profile does not make the diameter any smaller.
Trio permits both wall and ceiling mounting. The fitting itself weighs 5.2 kg, which needs to be considered when assessing the mounting surface and fixings. This is the net product weight rather than the weight of the shipping package.
Three white-light settings at the fitting
The integrated SMD LED sources are included; there are no sockets for separately purchased bulbs. Trio specifies two 51 W sources and a source flux of 2 × 6200 lm. The installation manual gives the complete LED assembly a 102 W rating.
A DIP switch on the light selects 2300, 3000 or 4000 K: very warm, warm or neutral white. This setting is made at the fitting and is separate from brightness control. Dimming uses a compatible external dimmer, so check the manual's recommendations before choosing the controller rather than assuming any wall dimmer will work.
General lighting with a defined outline
Trio identifies living rooms and bedrooms as applications. The broad luminous face lends itself to general lighting rather than a directional reading spot. Its matt black edge remains visible against a pale ceiling, while the unadorned circular construction suits modern, modernist and minimalist schemes. Decide on white-light temperature and dimming separately: they change different aspects of the light, even when used together in the same room.
