Trio WACO 627415032 matt black LED ceiling light 49.5 cm 52.5 W CCT

Trio WACO 627415032 is a round LED ceiling light with a matt black metal body and a white illuminated face. A narrow dark rim surrounds its flat, closed front, rather than a group of exposed bulbs. This version offers three white-light settings without requiring a different light source for each colour temperature.

A 49.5 cm disc close to the ceiling

The fitting measures 49.5 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm in height. There is no suspension cable to accommodate, so the circular footprint matters more than a hanging length when planning its position. Compare those dimensions with the electrical outlet and nearby fitted furniture before installation. Its shallow profile leaves more space beneath the fitting than a pendant light.

The manufacturer permits both ceiling and wall mounting. WACO can provide general lighting in a kitchen, living room, bedroom, entrance hall or corridor. In a study or office it serves as room lighting, rather than automatically replacing a light directed at a particular work surface. It also offers a ceiling-mounted alternative to a pendant in a dining room. The simple circle, black border and absence of ornament support modern, modernist and minimalist interiors.

Warm and neutral white from one source

The integrated SMD LED source is rated at 52.5 W with a declared light output of 6200 lm. There is no screw-in bulb to select for this fitting. A DIP switch on the light selects 2300, 3000 or 4000 K: a distinctly warm tone, warm white or neutral white respectively. These are three fixed choices, not continuously variable colour-temperature control.

The lumen figure describes the source, not a guaranteed illumination level for every room. Consider the room area, mounting height and other lights when deciding whether this output suits the intended location.

Dimming is a separate function

Brightness can be adjusted with a compatible external dimmer for this LED fitting. The colour-temperature switch does not act as a dimmer, so plan the two controls separately. The supply is 230 V. Check the WACO instructions when choosing the control equipment before connecting the light, rather than assuming that any existing dimmer will be suitable.
