NAICA W0525-01A-P7D7 is a wall lamp built from three matt black metal hoops separated by polished gold bands. A row of cut crystals hangs below the body. The manufacturer gives 19 cm in height, 18.5 cm in width and 9.3 cm of projection from the wall.
How much wall space it takes
The 9.3 cm projection is the figure worth comparing with the width of the passage where you plan to mount it: in a narrow hallway it decides whether the lamp gets in the way, and above a sofa or bed it sets how close to the wall the furniture can stand.
At 19 cm high and 18.5 cm wide, NAICA gives local light. It lights a section of wall, a seating area or the space beside a mirror rather than the whole room.
Which bulb you need to buy
The fitting has a single G9 socket and takes a bulb of up to 42 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness of the light yourself. The manufacturer allows either a halogen or an LED bulb with the same cap here.
The data sheet lists NAICA as dimmable; to use that you need a dimmable G9 bulb and a dimmer in the circuit. Before fitting the bulb, the instructions require the protective foil to be removed from the fixture.
Mounting and what is in the box
The body is fixed to the wall on a metal plate and the wires are joined in an L-N terminal block. Screws and wall plugs are marked in the assembly instructions as not included, so they have to be chosen to suit the wall: different ones for concrete, different ones for plasterboard.
The twelve crystal pieces are hung once the body is mounted, and after each one is in place the manufacturer asks for the metal hook to be bent as shown in the drawing. The fitting runs on 230 V mains voltage.
