STEINEL RS PRO P3 056124 LED ceiling light white 4000 K Ø40 cm without sensor

The STEINEL RS PRO P3 056124 is a white LED ceiling light with a round housing and a domed opal diffuser. This is the indoor version without a motion detector. It can operate as a single light or connect by cable to the sensor-equipped version.

Choose the right control arrangement

Article 056124 does not detect movement on its own. In a standalone installation, a switch in the supply circuit can turn the light on and off. For a group of lights that responds to movement, plan the connection to the appropriate sensor version using the manufacturer's wiring diagram. Interconnection is wired rather than wireless, an important distinction when planning cable routes.

Neutral-white light for circulation spaces

The integrated LED system draws 17.8 W, while the complete luminaire delivers 2188 lm. Its 4000 K colour temperature is neutral white. Check this against the other lighting in a corridor, entrance hall or stairwell before choosing the variant; these are the circulation spaces identified by STEINEL. A soft-start function brings the light on gradually, but does not mean that this version contains a movement sensor.

The LED source comes with the fitting, so there is no separate bulb or socket type to select. It is not replaceable, however. If the source needs replacement, for example at the end of its service life, the instructions require replacement of the entire luminaire. The control gear is also non-replaceable.

Allow for the body and the supply cable

The fitting measures 40 cm in diameter and 14.2 cm in height. Compare those dimensions with the available wall or ceiling space before installation. A plastic housing and opal PMMA cover give it a plain, rounded form without decorative elements, suited to modern and minimalist interiors.

The luminaire has an IP54 rating and protection class II. The manufacturer permits indoor wall and ceiling mounting, but the instructions rule out ceiling installation with a surface-mounted supply cable. Connection to the 220–240 V mains supply must follow the installation instructions and applicable wiring regulations.
