The Asker 1513WH is an outdoor wall light shaped as a flat rectangular box of cast aluminium, powder-coated white (RAL 9003). The cover is clear, textured polycarbonate, UV-stabilised, and light leaves the housing at the top and the bottom at the same time – it draws two bands on the wall, above and below the fitting.
Size and wall mounting
The housing is 22.5 cm wide and 11 cm high and projects 8.5 cm from the wall – figures to compare with the space beside a door or on a pillar. It weighs 1.16 kg and is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 180 × 60 mm apart.
The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and a cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm² can run on from the fitting to the next one – several wall lights on one facade can share a single supply run. The gland seal fits round-sheathed cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter; the manufacturer specifies that it is pierced only with the cable itself, because damage from a tool lowers the ingress protection.
Which light source
Inside is a single E27 lampholder for an A55–A60 shaped bulb, and the manufacturer allows LED up to 9 W. No bulb is included, so you choose brightness and colour yourself: an LED of about 800 lm gives as much light as an old 60 W incandescent, and 2700–3000 K is warm, slightly yellowish light.
The fitting is protection class I, which means it must be connected to a protective earth. Supply voltage is 220–240 V.
Where it can be mounted
IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the light can be mounted on a wall without a canopy. IK08 stands for impact resistance up to 5 J, and the manufacturer gives an operating temperature range of −20 to +45 °C.
It is intended for facades, balconies, fences and gardens, and for venues such as hotels and restaurants. The form is minimalist and modern: a smooth box with sharp edges, no ornament and no visible screws, in solid white that blends into a light-coloured wall.
