MERA BLACK: a three-light industrial ceiling fitting
Keter Lighting’s MERA BLACK is a black ceiling light arranged on a 60 cm rectangular bar. Its three suspended light points create an even visual rhythm, while the smoked glass shades and metal wire guards give the fitting a distinctly industrial character. The restrained silhouette works especially well against a pale ceiling, timber, brick or concrete details.
Construction and specification
- three E27 lampholders for separately selected bulbs,
- metal structure with glass-and-metal shades,
- dimensions: 60 × 15 × 31 cm,
- 230 V supply and a stated maximum fixture power of 60 W,
- gross weight: 1.9 kg.
The open shade design makes the chosen bulbs part of the composition. E27 lamps with a shape and light output suited to the room let the fitting retain its graphic look while providing the desired illumination. Disconnect power before installation and use fixings appropriate for the ceiling; an electrician is the right choice where the installation is uncertain.
Placement and style
The three-shade bar is a natural option above a dining table or kitchen island, and can also bring structured light to a living room or wider hallway. Black metal, smoked glass and visible wirework make MERA BLACK an expressive loft-style ceiling lamp without excessive ornament. It complements modern interiors as well as more overtly industrial schemes.
