Aldex Filo Milky L pairs a long black rod with a white opal-glass shade. Concentric stepped rings give the shade its recognisable retro outline, while the single slender suspension keeps the glass form in focus. Product code 9000PL_G1_L identifies the version with a 28 cm shade, rather than one of the shorter members of the collection.
A long drop for a tall room
The complete fitting measures 108 cm high, with a width and depth of 28 cm. Aldex specifies a 90 cm rod; the shade is 18 cm high, and the ceiling canopy measures 8 cm across and 3 cm high. These measurements let you compare size L with the intended installation position before choosing between the S, M and L versions.
The long vertical element places the shade well below the ceiling. Above a table, check the clearance to the tabletop; in a hall or above stairs, also allow for the space people need to pass beneath it. The manufacturer identifies tall living rooms, halls and stair spaces as settings for this version. Do not interpret its overall height as a confirmed adjustment range.
The E27 bulb determines the light
The fitting uses one E27 light source rated at a maximum of 15 W LED. When selecting a bulb, compare its luminous flux and colour temperature as well as its wattage. Those values belong to the selected bulb, rather than being fixed characteristics of the fitting. Milky glass conceals the bulb and diffuses light passing through it, but the room's required brightness still needs a separate assessment.
White glass against black metal
The metal suspension contrasts with the opal shade, whose stepped profile remains visible when the lamp is off. Its straight rod and concentric form reference mid-century modern and vintage interiors. In a living or dining room, consider both the shade's width and the long black line: both remain part of the composition regardless of your bulb choice.
