Ideallux GEKO PL4 white glass ceiling light, chrome, 4×E27, 56 cm, 116112

Ideal Lux GEKO PL4 is a white glass ceiling light with an asymmetric, softly rounded outline. Its enamelled metal frame is paired with a chrome fixing at the centre of the glass. The 116112 version measures 56 × 40 cm and accommodates four E27 bulbs, rather than using an integrated LED module.

A shallow profile without a pendant drop

The fitting is 6.5 cm high. It sits close to its mounting surface, with no suspended shade or hanging cable below it. Compare the full 56 × 40 cm outline with the space available on your ceiling, particularly where tall cupboards or neighbouring fittings limit the placement.

The photographs show a white glass area framed by a transparent border, with one chrome detail in the centre. The restrained material combination suits modern and minimalist interiors, while the uneven rounded outline offers an alternative to a conventional circular flush ceiling light. Its appearance comes from the glass shape rather than decorative arms or exposed bulbs.

Four bulbs, purchased separately

Bulbs are not supplied. Each E27 socket accepts a bulb rated at no more than 60 W. This limit is not the electricity consumption of every possible bulb combination: the actual consumption depends on the sources you install. Ideal Lux recommends a spherical E27 4 W 3000 K bulb, but that recommendation does not make the bulb part of the package.

You choose the brightness and colour temperature through the bulbs. The glass diffuser provides diffuse emission rather than a narrow spotlight beam. The technical sheet lists the fitting as non-dimmable, so compatibility with a dimmer should not be assumed.

Ceiling or wall installation indoors

Its shallow construction and diffuse output support general lighting in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room, as well as a hall, corridor or stairwell. The exact assembly instructions also permit wall mounting. In that position, allow for the entire glass outline, not only its projection from the wall. Connection to the 220–240 V supply must be carried out by a qualified electrician. This class I fitting requires a protective earth connection.
