Jupiter PLANET 1890 pendant light, gold and black, 1×G9, 65 cm

Jupiter PLANET 1890 is a single-light pendant combining a glass globe with a black ring. A slender gold-coloured vertical element connects this arrangement to a round black ceiling canopy. The visible cable loop contributes to the silhouette rather than disappearing behind the shade. The fitting is made from steel and glass.

A narrow footprint with a substantial drop

The manufacturer specifies a height of 65 cm, a width of 16 cm and a depth of 17 cm. Its horizontal footprint is small, but its vertical dimension is considerably greater. Before choosing a position, compare the fitting's height with the space between your ceiling and the tabletop or furniture below. Width alone does not tell you how much clearance will remain beneath the globe.

Consider PLANET as a decorative pendant over a dining table or kitchen island, or within a defined area of a living room or bedroom. In each setting, the available clearance and your chosen bulb matter. Having one light source does not establish whether the fitting can provide all the lighting needed for an entire room.

One replaceable G9 bulb, bought separately

The pendant has one G9 holder and a replaceable light source. The bulb is not included. Its permitted power is 14 W, with a supply voltage of 230 V. Check both the G9 designation and the bulb's wattage when purchasing it; this is not a pendant with a non-replaceable integrated LED module.

Your bulb determines the light colour and output. The warm appearance of the illuminated globe in the photograph does not specify a fixed colour temperature for the fitting. The source remains visible through the glass, so the bulb's own appearance also forms part of the composition.

Geometry rather than elaborate ornament

A globe, a ring and a straight vertical line create a contemporary, design-led shape. Gold describes the finish colour, not a brass construction. Black recurs across the canopy, ring and cable. The manufacturer lists a five-year warranty.
