Jupiter ROSSO 1916 black pendant light, 3 × E27

Jupiter ROSSO 1916 is a black pendant light with three glass shades arranged in a straight row. Each spherical shade sits within a rounded frame. Pale glass contrasts with the black structure and small gold-coloured details, while a single elongated ceiling canopy brings the three separate drops together.

Check the space above your table

The fitting measures 66 cm wide, 23 cm deep and 93 cm high. When planning its position, compare the width with your table length and the height with the distance between the ceiling and tabletop. The position of the shades relative to seated people also deserves consideration. This is not a flush ceiling light: its three suspended globes remain a visible part of the room.

The linear arrangement supports placement above a dining table, including a dining area within a living room. It can also be considered above a kitchen island where the dimensions and available hanging space are suitable. The choice should follow the measurements of the actual location rather than an assumption that any pendant will fit.

Choose three E27 bulbs separately

ROSSO has three E27 holders for replaceable light sources. Bulbs are not supplied. The manufacturer specifies 3 × E27/15 W, giving a limit of 15 W for each holder. Keep within that rating when selecting bulbs. Their colour temperature and light output determine those aspects of the lighting; illuminated product photographs do not establish either value.

Replaceable sources allow the bulbs to be changed later without replacing the entire fitting. The lamp is intended for indoor use with a 230 V supply.

Rounded frames in steel and glass

The manufacturer lists steel and glass and identifies a loft style. The repeated globe shapes, simple canopy and rounded frames also support a modernist setting. Gold-coloured details are small visual accents rather than the main finish of the structure. ROSSO offers three individual glass shades instead of one large shared shade, an important distinction when choosing a linear pendant. The manufacturer states a five-year guarantee.
