Keter Lighting ROYAL 890 black and gold wall light 1xE27

Keter Lighting ROYAL 890 is a metal wall light with a black arm and a shade finished with gold-coloured rings around its lower section. The open cage leaves the bulb visible, while a solid black band above it gives the shade a distinct upper edge.

A round wall plate, an arm with a right-angle bend and a cylindrical shade give ROYAL its geometric outline. The gold-coloured elements do not cover the whole shade: they frame its open lower portion, contrasting with the black metal above. This construction suits modern, industrial and loft interiors, particularly where a visible bulb is preferable to an enclosed opal cover.

The appearance of the bulb matters as well as its light output. Its envelope remains visible between the rings, so the shape and colour of the bulb will influence the look of the fitting even when it is switched off.

One E27 bulb, supplied separately

The fitting has a single E27 holder and accepts a bulb rated at no more than 60 W. No light source is included. The bulb in the photograph illustrates the presentation of the fitting rather than the contents of the package. Choose the correct screw base and check the bulb's dimensions against the space within the shade before purchase.

Light colour and brightness depend on the bulb you choose, not on the black and gold finish. The 60 W rating is the maximum permitted bulb power, not a guaranteed level of brightness. Compare the luminous output of candidate bulbs as well as their power rating.

Allow room for the arm and shade

The manufacturer specifies a length of 20 cm, a width of 12 cm and a height of 20 cm. Compare these measurements with the intended position and nearby door swings. ROYAL 890 can provide an additional light point in a living room, bedroom, dining room, entrance hall or corridor. It is an indoor fitting, not a garden light. Wall mounting leaves a table surface available, but the complete arm and shade still need space.
