Lighting pole TRYSIL 1025GR graphite RAL 7016 double LED 34W 4000K 350 cm Norlys

Trysil 1025GR is a complete Norlys lighting pole, 350 cm tall, that splits at the top into two arms in a Y shape with a total span of 118 cm. The shaft and arms are extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016). The LED luminaires are built into the arms, so no separate heads are bought for it.

How much light it gives

Four LED modules under the arms shine through a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser. The pole draws 34 W and delivers 3448 lm (the modules alone 5840 lm), or 101.4 lm/W – enough for a driveway, a park path or the forecourt of a house. 4000 K is neutral white, cooler than domestic lamps, and CRI 80 renders colours well outdoors.

The light spreads in a downward hemisphere, and ULOR 0.4% means practically nothing escapes into the sky. The manufacturer calculated the photometry for a 3.5 m mounting height, which is exactly this pole. The driver is built in, and the light can be dimmed with a phase dimmer of either type, trailing edge (TE) or leading edge (LE).

Lifetime and servicing

The manufacturer states L90 52,600 h and L80 102,000 h for the modules and 50,000 h for the driver. The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service using repair kit ZS1025zx0009 – after a failure a part is changed, not the whole pole.

Installation and connection

The pole weighs 25.7 kg and arrives in a 232 cm long carton, worth planning for at delivery and when carrying it onto the property. It is installed following the enclosed instructions, and other mounting accessories are bought separately. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², the supply can be looped on with up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the cable entry fits a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter.

It is a protection class I luminaire that needs an earth conductor; the manufacturer leaves installation and servicing to a suitably qualified person. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact rating, which matters for a pole beside a drive or a car park.
