Lucide RUBEN black and brass flush ceiling light 22 cm 00124/01/30

Lucide RUBEN: a compact ceiling light with a warm accent

RUBEN 00124/01/30 is a square Lucide flush ceiling light measuring 22 × 22 × 22 cm. Its black metal housing is paired with a brass-coloured fitting, so the lamp brings a warm decorative note to the ceiling rather than disappearing into the background. The close-to-ceiling format is useful where a pendant would hang too low or take too much visual space.

Choose the light that suits the room

The fixture has one E27 socket and is supplied without a bulb. That leaves the choice of brightness, colour temperature and bulb appearance to the homeowner. Lucide specifically suggests an extra-warm white bulb; a decorative LED filament bulb can complement the retro detail particularly well. The fitting is rated for one 40 W maximum lamp on 230 V. With a compatible dimmer and a dimmable E27 bulb, the output can be adjusted from a welcoming evening glow to a clearer everyday light.

Placement and character

A slim ceiling plate keeps RUBEN close to the ceiling. It works naturally in a hall, bedroom or living area as a single decorative light point. Because it uses one bulb, the selected bulb should match the room size and intended task; in a larger room, it is best considered part of a layered lighting scheme.
