NORLYS Asker Pro 1320BL bollard light, black RAL 9005, LED 7.7 W 4000 K, 85 cm

The NORLYS Asker Pro 1320BL is an 85 cm bollard light shaped as an inverted L: a slim post topped by a horizontal head that shines down onto the path and lawn around it. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated black (RAL 9005), and the LED module in the head is covered by a sealed clear PMMA lens.

Size and where it goes

The bollard is 85 cm tall with an 11 cm post profile, and the head reaches out 20 cm; at that height the light falls on the paving rather than into the eyes of people walking past. Norlys designs it for gardens and other private grounds: along paths, driveways and terraces, and around hotels and restaurants. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and the IK08 impact rating matters for a bollard standing beside a walkway or on a mown lawn.

What light it gives

The head carries a Cree LED module supplied with the fitting, at 4000 K, a neutral white under which planting and paving look natural, with CRI 80 colour rendering. The Ledil VSM lens gives an IESNA type V distribution, so the light spreads evenly all round the bollard rather than to one side. The module produces 856 lm and 617 lm leaves the fitting at 7.7 W; the maker gives ULOR 2% and a BUG rating of B1-U1-G1, so almost all the light goes downwards.

The bollard can be phase-dimmed, only with a trailing-edge (TE) dimmer.

Installation, accessories and service

The base bolts down through four ø8 mm holes spaced 18 x 50 mm. Ground fixings are not included: Norlys sells separately the 1907 concreting anchor, the 1908 ground anchor, mounting adapters 3090 and 3081 and the 1909 concrete-foundation adapter. It is protection class I, so it needs an earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 3 x 2.5 mm² and allow looping on to the next bollard (up to 3 x 1.5 mm²), so a whole row along a path can run from one line; the gland takes round cable up to ø12.5 mm. The LED module, lens and driver are replaced by a professional service, and Norlys lists them as spare parts. The maker rates the module at 109,000 h (L90) and the driver at 50,000 h.
