s.luce Velo creates a three-dimensional composition of eight glass shades beneath a black linear canopy. This multicolour version brings together brown, clear and smoked glass, with three different sizes giving the arrangement a varied rhythm. Designed for a dining table or kitchen island, its decorative character comes from the combination of shapes, glass finishes and suspension levels.
Three rows along a 200 cm canopy
The metal canopy measures 200 × 50 × 5 cm. Three longitudinal slots organise the pendants into three rows, allowing the composition to extend in depth as well as along the table. This arrangement spreads the shades across a larger surface. Plan the positions and drop levels together, allowing space for all eight glass elements. The selected version has a suspension of up to 150 cm, which can be shortened during installation.
Different proportions in hand-blown glass
The set includes shades measuring 18, 20 and 25 cm in diameter. Their respective heights are 33, 20 and 27 cm, so slender forms sit alongside more rounded shapes. Vertical surface detailing emphasises the glass contours, while black cables and holders unite the different elements into one composition. Hand blowing gives each shade a crafted character. An opening underneath allows light to travel downwards freely, and the bulbs visible through the glass contribute to the appearance of the fitting.
Eight individually selected bulbs
Each shade has an E27 socket rated for a maximum of 40 W. Bulbs are not included, leaving you free to select their shape and lighting character for the dining room, kitchen or living space. Dimming requires suitable dimmable bulbs and compatible control equipment. Replaceable light sources allow the lighting to be adjusted later without replacing the glass composition. The manufacturer also recommends the Velo family for restaurant interiors, where this decorative arrangement can become part of the setting around a table.
