Quintiesse Deco wall light E14 IP44, lacquered gold QN-DECO-1WB-AB-O

Quintiesse Deco QN-DECO-1WB-AB-O pairs an opal-glass globe with a rectangular, geometrically embossed backplate. The lacquered-gold steel structure has a visibly three-dimensional surface: angular facets contrast with the curved globe and the metal bowl beneath it.

Allow for the full wall projection

The fitting measures 30.5 cm high and 15.2 cm wide, and projects 17.1 cm from the wall. Take that projection into account beside a mirror, in a hallway or where people pass alongside furniture. Before installation, compare the full height with the space between your countertop, mirror and nearby furnishings; the visible globe alone does not describe the fitting's overall footprint.

The relief remains part of the design when the lamp is switched off. Its gold backplate and opal glass suit Art Deco interiors and schemes combining classical details with straight lines. This is a wall light with a pronounced profile rather than a flat fitting that disappears against the wall.

One replaceable E14 light source

A single E14 bulb rated at no more than 25 W is required and is not included. There is no integrated LED module. You therefore select light colour and brightness when choosing the bulb, and a spent source can be replaced without replacing the entire wall light.

The manufacturer confirms compatibility with dimmable lamps. If you want brightness control, also choose a dimmer compatible with your selected bulb; the fitting itself does not specify a dimming range. The bulb recommended on the official page is a separate accessory, not part of the supplied package.

Bathroom use and decorative wall lighting

IP44 protection and the manufacturer's explicit bathroom-use designation make Deco an option beside a mirror. The installation position must still comply with bathroom zones and applicable wiring rules. As a Class I fitting, it requires a protective-earth connection.

Beyond the bathroom, it can supplement lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, studies or corridors, including hotel and restaurant interiors. The globe and relief panel provide a visible wall feature, while the actual light output depends on the bulb fitted. The manufacturer states a standard two-year guarantee.
