s.luce Velo 191021 is a five-light pendant with clear, vertically ribbed glass shades and black suspension. It combines glass and metal in a long arrangement of individual drops. Rather than the arms of a traditional chandelier, five separate cables descend from a rectangular ceiling canopy.

A 160 cm canopy with two rows of pendants

The canopy measures 160 × 25 × 4 cm. Compare its length with your dining table or kitchen island before deciding where to install the fitting. That measurement describes the ceiling component, not the diameter of a shade. The arrangement uses shade diameters of 18, 20 and 25 cm and heights of 33, 20 and 27 cm, so the five glass forms are not identical.

The textile cables are 150 cm long, and the manufacturer explicitly confirms individual height adjustment. This lets you arrange the drops in relation to the tabletop and the sightlines of seated people. Cable length is not the overall height of the fitting: the shades and canopy also need to be considered when planning the available space. Two rows spread the five light points across width as well as length.

Choose five separate E27 bulbs

Bulbs are not included. With five E27 holders, the fitting leaves the choice of light colour and brightness to the light sources you buy. Clear glass keeps those bulbs visible, making their shape part of the appearance even when the light is switched off. There is no single built-in colour temperature.

The shades are open underneath, allowing light to reach the surface below. Dimming is possible with suitable light sources. Dimmable bulbs and the dimmer used must be compatible; this does not mean that a brightness control is built into the fitting.

Clear glass for a contemporary table setting

The elongated layout suits a dining table, a large kitchen island or a table within an open living area. Black suspension lines and regular glass ribs support contemporary and minimalist interiors.
