s.luce Velo Glass Pendant Light Brown 20 cm Cylindrical E27

The s.luce Velo 188983 is a single pendant light with a brown glass shade and black suspension. This 20 cm version combines a rounded cylindrical outline with vertical detailing in the glass. The bulb remains visible through the shade, making its appearance part of the finished fitting rather than something concealed inside it.

A compact shade with a 150 cm suspension

The glass shade measures 20 cm in height and 20 cm in diameter. These equal dimensions distinguish it from the longer shapes in the Velo family. Compare both measurements with the space above your table or kitchen island before ordering. The black ceiling canopy is 12 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm high, so its footprint also needs to be considered when positioning the ceiling connection.

The manufacturer specifies a maximum suspension of 150 cm and a textile cable that can be shortened during installation. This lets the shade's position be planned against the tabletop and seated sightlines. Installation adjustment does not mean a mechanism for raising the light during everyday use. This listing is for one brown pendant; photographs of several lights illustrate family combinations, not a multi-light package.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

There is one E27 socket, and no light source is included. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the bulb you select, not simply on the shade's brown colour. The open underside allows light to pass downwards. Dimming is possible with a suitable light source; check that bulb's compatibility with the intended control rather than assuming a particular dimming system from the socket type.

Brown glass above a table or island

Transparent, vertically detailed glass and restrained black metalwork give this pendant a modern outline while keeping a decorative bulb in view. The manufacturer identifies living rooms, dining tables, kitchen islands and restaurant interiors as applications. When arranging several pendants, plan each mounting point and the spacing between shades separately. Match the number of fittings and the chosen bulbs to the area you intend to illuminate, since this version has just one light source.
