SLV KALU CW 1002025 is a four-head, surface-mounted light for a wall or ceiling. Its elongated aluminium base carries four round heads with exposed joints. The brushed finish and visible reflectors give it a technical appearance, without a shared shade covering the individual light sources.

Four heads, separate directions

Each head can turn and tilt, so the four light points do not have to face the same area. SLV specifies 350° rotation and 90° tilt. This lets you direct light towards different parts of an interior from a single mounting base. The resulting beam width also depends on the lamps you choose: changing the head angle changes the direction, not the lamp's own beam angle.

The fitting measures 60 cm long, 9 cm wide and 18 cm high. It remains visible below the ceiling or in front of the wall rather than sitting inside a recessed opening. Compare those dimensions with the available mounting space and the intended directions of light before deciding where to install it.

Choose the lamps separately

Four GU10 sockets take QPAR111 reflector lamps, also described as ES111. Lamps are not included. The maximum permitted rating is 75 W per socket; this is a lamp limit, not the fitting's fixed energy consumption. Halogen lamps or suitable LED replacements can be used. Brightness, colour temperature and beam width are therefore choices made when buying the lamps. Dimming requires compatible dimmable lamps and matching control equipment.

Placement and installation requirements

KALU offers directional lighting for a living room, dining area, hallway or retail display. Its straight base and exposed adjustment mechanisms suit modern and minimalist interiors. Whether you direct it towards a table or a particular feature, the manual requires at least 0.8 m between the light source and the illuminated surface.

The fitting connects to a 220–240 V supply and requires a protective earth conductor. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. When halogen lamps are used, SLV specifies a minimum mounting height of 2.50 m. Clean the outside with a cloth slightly dampened with water only after disconnecting the power and allowing the fitting to cool.
