Trio PURE wall lamp 202000108

The Trio PURE 202000108 wall light pairs a spherical white opal-glass shade with a metal backplate in a matt brass finish. Its round wall plate and slender horizontal arm give the globe a clearly defined setting, without decorative scrolls or an exposed bulb.

A wall-mounted alternative beside the bed

Trio identifies living rooms and bedrooms as suitable settings and specifically describes use beside a bed. Mounting the light on the wall leaves the bedside table surface available for other items. The white glass encloses the bulb rather than presenting an open directional spotlight. Consider PURE as part of a supplementary lighting arrangement, with the actual brightness determined by the bulb you choose.

The fitting is 20.6 cm high and 18 cm wide, with a projection of 21.3 cm from the wall. The globe measures 16 cm in diameter. When planning its position near a headboard or furniture, compare the full projection with the available clearance. The shade diameter alone does not describe how far the complete fitting extends into the room.

FLEXConnect offers two connection choices

This wall light can be connected to fixed wiring or operated using a plug lead. Both arrangements are illustrated in the manufacturer's instructions, and the plug lead is included. A switch is fitted on the cable. If you choose the plug-in arrangement, plan a route for the visible lead and keep its switch accessible. Plug-in operation does not make PURE a freestanding lamp: the fitting still requires wall mounting.

Choose a separate E14 bulb

The single E14 socket accepts a bulb rated at a maximum of 28 W. No bulb is supplied, so an appropriate light source needs to be purchased before use; Trio recommends an LED bulb. Light output and colour temperature depend on that separate source, rather than on the brass finish or the illuminated appearance in a photograph. The globe, circular plate and straight arm support a modern, minimalist interior scheme through their simple geometry.
