Zambelis 2580 matt gold wall light, smoked and opal glass, 1×G9 LED max. 4 W Promo Code - ZAM10 until the end of Oct 30

The Zambelis 2580 wall light combines an irregular, softly rounded matt-gold plate with a spherical glass shade. An outer smoked-glass shell surrounds an inner opal globe, leaving two distinct glass layers visible against the metal backplate. The manufacturer specifies metal, aluminium and glass for the construction.

A separate G9 LED bulb is required

The fitting takes one G9 LED bulb rated at no more than 4 W. A bulb is not supplied, so include a suitable light source in your purchase. This is not a fitting with a built-in LED module: the chosen bulb determines colour temperature and light output. The 4 W marking is a maximum power allowance, not a brightness specification for the assembled lamp.

The opal inner glass covers the light source, while the tinted outer glass remains a visible part of the shade. The manufacturer lists no dimming option for this fitting. Buying a dimmable bulb alone should therefore not be taken as confirmation that the complete light can be operated with a dimmer.

Allow for the shade's projection

Overall dimensions are 20.5 cm wide and 19.5 cm high, with a projection of 16.6 cm from the wall. The glass globe is 15 cm in diameter. Compare those measurements with the space beside a bed or the available passage width before positioning the electrical point. A modest height does not mean the shade sits flush against the wall. For several fittings in a row, allow for the entire gold plate rather than just the glass diameter.

Decorative supplementary lighting

The manufacturer identifies living rooms, bedrooms and hallways as suitable settings. Wall mounting provides supplementary lighting without occupying a bedside or occasional table. The asymmetrical plate, spherical glass and matt-gold finish suit modern and glamour interiors; the fitting is not an adjustable directional task light.

The 2580 is surface-mounted and supplied at 220–240 V. Its instructions require installation by a professional electrician with the supply switched off and the protective earth connected. Allow for these requirements when planning the wall connection.
