Adjustable wall light Trio BELL 801900167, antique nickel, wood, E14

Trio BELL 801900167 is a single-bulb wall light with a movable metal shade and a square wooden base. The antique-nickel finish is paired with a gold-coloured shade interior. Its open front leaves the bulb visible, so the bulb's shape contributes to the appearance even when the light is switched off.

A small fitting with directional adjustment

The manufacturer specifies a width and height of 11 cm each. Compare these measurements with the available wall space, allowing for the position of the angled shade as well. The movable head lets you change the direction of the light without relocating the base. This is an opaque metal shade with a front opening, rather than a translucent fabric shade that emits light through its entire surface.

BELL supports both wall and ceiling mounting. It can serve as supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom, hallway or study. When deciding where to aim the head, consider the view from your usual position: the bulb is exposed through the opening rather than concealed behind a closed diffuser.

Choose the bulb and connection method

The fitting requires one E14 bulb rated at no more than 25 W. A bulb is not included. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the light source you select; the gold-coloured interior does not establish a fixed light colour. The maximum wattage is a permitted bulb limit, not a statement of the completed fitting's brightness.

Operation is at 230 V, 50 Hz. FLEXconnect ready allows either a fixed connection or operation with a plug-in supply lead. That lead is not supplied, so the intended connection method needs to be considered when preparing the installation position.

Wood and aged-looking metal

The straight edges of the wooden base contrast with the rounded shade and visible joint. These details suit vintage and industrial schemes, while the compact outline can also sit alongside modern furnishings. Gold colouring is confined to the inside of the shade: this is neither an all-silver nor an entirely gold-coloured light.
