Asker Pole 5126AL LED garden pole light, 216 cm, 18 W, 4000 K, light grey RAL 9006 – NORLYS

The Asker Pole 5126AL is a 216 cm garden lighting pole in which the column and the luminaire form a single unit: a straight, rectangular profile ending in a horizontal arm with a flat LED diffuser underneath. The extruded aluminium profile is powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006, and the diffuser is made of clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate.

Dimensions and installation

The pole is made of two segments, the lower one 111.5 cm long. The profile is 11 cm wide and the arm carrying the light reaches 39 cm out from the pole, so the light falls slightly in front of it rather than straight onto its base.

The pole is fixed by a 24 cm wide base plate, bolted through four ø12 mm holes on a 200 × 200 mm pattern. No foundation part is included: the ground anchor (117GA) or the concrete anchor (116ZX) is bought separately. The pole weighs 10.54 kg.

What light it gives

Two integrated LED modules with a combined 18 W sit in the arm. The luminaire delivers 1100 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white that is cooler than a traditional incandescent bulb, with a colour rendering index of CRI 80. The light is directed downwards and the manufacturer states a ULOR of 0%: nothing is emitted above the horizontal, which matters next to the windows of nearby buildings and for keeping sky glow over the garden down.

The luminaire can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, either trailing edge (TE) or leading edge (LE), so it works with both types. The LED modules are not user-replaceable: if they fail, a professional service replaces them, and the manufacturer offers the ZS5126 service kit for this.

Connection and durability

The luminaire is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the next luminaire to be looped through, and the cable gland accepts a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter, so several poles along a path can run from one supply line. The light and connection compartments are sealed to IP65, meaning dust-tight and protected against water jets, and the impact resistance is IK10.

The Asker Pole is intended for gardens, parks and the grounds of hotels and restaurants. Its modern character comes from the plain, square-edged profile without ornament.
