Braelyn wall lamp - 2 light sources - Polished chrome Quintiesse

Quintiesse Braelyn QN-BRAELYN2-PC is a two-light wall fitting with a steel frame finished in polished chrome. Its clear cylindrical shades contain small air bubbles in the glass, leaving the bulbs visible and combining vintage jar-like forms with industrial metal detailing.

Two E27 sockets, with bulbs chosen separately

The fitting has two E27 sockets and is supplied without bulbs. There is no integrated LED module, so light colour and brightness depend on the sources you purchase rather than on fixed output from the fixture. The manufacturer lists a maximum wattage of 40 W; follow the fixture markings when selecting suitable lamps.

Because the glass is transparent, the shape of each bulb remains part of the design. Decorative filament-style lamps suit the cylindrical shades, rather than disappearing behind an opaque cover. The manufacturer confirms compatibility with dimmable lamps. To adjust brightness, choose dimmable bulbs and controls that work with them; the fitting alone does not determine the dimming method.

Check the space around your mirror

Braelyn measures 37.4 cm wide and 25.9 cm high, with a projection of 14.5 cm from the wall. Compare this outline with the available space above a mirror, adjacent cabinets and other wall fittings before deciding where to install it. The elongated backplate measures 22.8 cm wide and 12 cm high, with one shade positioned on either side of its centre.

The IP44 rating and the manufacturer's bathroom designation support use as a bathroom wall light near a mirror. The installation position must still comply with bathroom electrical requirements: IP44 is not permission to install it in every zone. This is an interior fitting, not a garden light.

Visible glass texture and reflective metal

The polished metal reflects its surroundings, while the small bubbles in the glass remain visible even when the light is off. Curved tubing, metal shade collars and the jar-shaped glass provide a specific retro-industrial character suitable for vintage and loft-inspired interiors. Outside the bathroom, its form also supports decorative wall lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen or hallway. The fixed arms do not provide directional adjustment, so it should not be treated as an adjustable reading lamp.
