Braelyn wall lamp - 2 light sources - Brushed brass Quintiesse

Quintiesse Braelyn QN-BRAELYN2-BB is a two-light wall fitting with clear, jar-shaped glass shades and a brushed brass finish. Small bubbles within the seeded glass give the shades a visible texture while leaving the bulbs on display. The body is steel: brushed brass describes the finish, rather than a solid-brass construction.

Allow for the full wall projection

The two shades sit either side of an elongated wall plate. At 37.4 cm wide, the fitting can be compared with your mirror width or available wall space before installation. Its overall height is 25.9 cm and it projects 14.5 cm from the wall, so a front view alone does not show all the space it needs. The wall plate measures 22.8 × 12 cm and projects 2.2 cm.

The manufacturer specifies interior and bathroom use, with an IP44 rating. Placement above a mirror is worth considering, but the chosen position must still comply with bathroom installation requirements. IP44 does not permit installation in every bathroom location. This is a Class I fitting and requires an earth connection.

Choose two E27 bulbs separately

Bulbs are not supplied. Braelyn takes two E27 lamps, each rated at no more than 40 W, or suitable LED equivalents. Your choice determines brightness and colour temperature; neither is fixed by the brass finish. Because the shades are transparent, bulb shape and the visible filament or internal construction also affect the appearance.

Decorative Edison-style lamps suit the exposed-source design. The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps, provided the lamps and dimming control work together. Buying the wall light alone does not guarantee dimming with any bulb you install.

Visible hardware and seeded glass

Curved arms, prominent shade fixings and textured metal rings give this version its industrial and vintage character. It is the brushed brass model, not the chrome alternative. Beyond the bathroom, it can provide supplementary wall lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen or hallway where exposed decorative bulbs are wanted rather than a directional spotlight.
