Jupiter Ceres 1882 chandelier, black and gold, 5×E27, 74 cm

Jupiter CERES 1882 is a five-arm chandelier combining black branches with a gold-coloured vertical stem and socket surrounds. Clear cylindrical glass shades leave the bulbs visible. Its steel-and-glass construction gives the traditional branched chandelier a modern outline, without crystal drops or a fabric shade.

Allow for its 74 cm spread

The 74 cm width matters both at ceiling level and in relation to the furniture below. Its arms extend outwards from the centre, so Ceres occupies lateral space rather than forming a narrow single pendant. Over a dining table, compare this width with the tabletop before deciding where the ceiling connection should sit.

The manufacturer lists adjustable heights of 54, 72 and 98 cm. These figures let you plan the position relative to the ceiling and furniture; they do not establish continuous adjustment throughout that range. In an area people walk through, check the remaining headroom. Above a table, consider the gap between the tabletop and the lowest part of the fitting.

Choose five E27 bulbs separately

The chandelier takes five replaceable E27 light sources, with the manufacturer specifying 5 × 15 W. Bulbs are not included. Brightness and light colour therefore depend on the lamps you select, rather than on an integrated LED module with a fixed colour temperature.

The clear glass also exposes each bulb's shape. When choosing the set of five, consider the appearance of the bulbs alongside their electrical ratings. Gold-coloured sections sit beneath the glass cylinders, while the black arms remain visible between the light points. The selected bulbs become part of the visible composition rather than disappearing inside opaque shades.

A modern centrepiece for a living or dining area

Ceres is an indoor fitting whose branched form can be considered for a central living-room position or above a dining table. Its black and gold-coloured details can be coordinated with corresponding finishes in the room. Jupiter states a five-year warranty for this model.
