Jupiter LUCE PAT. 1876 chandelier, gold and black, 3 × E27

The Jupiter LUCE PAT. 1876 is a three-arm steel chandelier with curved black arms crossing beneath a round ceiling canopy. Each arm ends in an exposed gold-coloured holder. The bulbs you choose therefore become part of the design rather than disappearing behind a shade.

Allow space for the spreading arms

The fitting measures 40 cm high, 50 cm wide and 50 cm deep. Its three light points spread around a single ceiling attachment, so its footprint is different from that of a narrow, single-bulb pendant. Compare these dimensions with the ceiling height and nearby furniture before deciding where it should sit. When positioning it above a route through the room, check the clearance beneath the fitting as well.

It can serve as ceiling lighting in a living room, bedroom or hallway, or above a dining table. There is no enclosed shade directing all the light exclusively onto a tabletop. If the bulbs will be visible from seated positions, their finish and appearance deserve consideration alongside their light output.

Three replaceable bulbs, supplied separately

The chandelier has three E27 holders for replaceable light sources. The manufacturer's rating is 3 × E27/15 W: keep within 15 W for each holder when selecting bulbs. No bulbs are included. The decorative bulbs pictured in the product photograph are not part of the supplied fitting.

Brightness and colour temperature depend on your chosen light sources, not on the chandelier's finish. Round decorative bulbs emphasise the ends of the arms, while other bulb shapes alter the visible proportions. Choosing three sources with matching shapes and specifications also lets you retain a consistent appearance when replacements are needed.

Gold details against a black framework

The slim arms and exposed holders combine contemporary lines with industrial and loft styling. Gold-coloured details provide the contrast, while black remains the main structural colour. This is an alternative to a shaded chandelier for interiors where the metalwork and bulbs are intended to remain visible. Jupiter states a five-year warranty for the fitting.
