Lucide FIRMIN Gold Glass Retro Pendant Light 30 cm 45497/30/02

Lucide FIRMIN 45497/30/02 is a single pendant with an opal-glass cylinder surrounded by a broad ring in a matt gold / brass-coloured finish. White glass remains visible above and below the ring, with a black cable providing contrast. This is the 30 cm overall-diameter version, rather than the smaller pendant in the same collection.

Plan around the complete pendant, not just the glass

The shade assembly is 30 cm high. Its glass cylinder measures 20 cm across, while the surrounding ring sets the larger overall width. Keeping those measurements separate helps when judging the proportions of the glass and the clearance needed beside furniture or above a tabletop.

The total hanging height can be set between 50 and 150 cm before installation. This is an installation adjustment, not a mechanism for raising and lowering the shade during everyday use. Compare your intended drop with the ceiling height and the position of the surface below. The circular steel ceiling plate is 12 cm in diameter, and the cable is 120 cm long.

Choose the bulb and any dimming equipment

FIRMIN takes one E27 bulb rated at a maximum of 40 W. The bulb is not supplied; a suitable LED bulb can be used. Brightness and colour temperature consequently depend on your chosen light source, rather than a fixed LED module inside the fitting. Opal glass and the manufacturer's diffuse light distribution distinguish it from a narrow-beam spotlight.

Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible external dimmer, purchased separately. Normal switching is through the light switch in the electrical installation.

A retro form for living and dining areas

Lucide identifies living and dining rooms as uses for this pendant. The cylindrical geometry and gold-coloured band can also relate to modern furniture or glamour accents. Above a table or kitchen island, allow for the full 30 cm diameter when deciding its position. The fitting is intended for indoor use and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Installation materials are included, but the suitability of the chosen mounting location still needs to be assessed.
