Lucide TRICIA white ceiling light with glass shade Ø 25 cm 79187/01/31

Lucide TRICIA 79187/01/31 is a white ceiling light with an opal glass globe beneath a wider metal disc. Its matt finish and the contrast between these two simple shapes give it a modern appearance without a hanging cord. This version measures 25 cm across overall and takes one replaceable E27 bulb.

Allow for both the disc and the globe

The complete fitting projects 17.5 cm below the ceiling. The glass shade itself is 15 cm in diameter and 14 cm high, so the quoted 25 cm diameter refers to the metal disc rather than the globe. Compare the overall width and projection with your intended location, particularly near tall furniture or the swing of a door.

The height is fixed, not adjustable. A round mounting plate measuring 10 cm in diameter connects the fitting to the ceiling. Unlike a pendant, TRICIA does not require you to choose a suspension length, but its fixed downward projection still needs to be allowed for when planning the position.

Choose the bulb and dimming equipment separately

The single E27 socket accepts a bulb rated at no more than 15 W. No bulb is supplied, leaving brightness and light colour to the separately purchased source. Lucide specifies compatibility with an LED bulb and diffuse light spreading around the shade, rather than a narrow directional beam. This is not an adjustable spotlight.

Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer, which is not included. It does not mean that the fitting has built-in colour-temperature control or an integrated LED module. The light is intended for a mains connection and should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the manual.

A modern option for general lighting

The white metal disc and opal glass can sit alongside modern living-room, bedroom, entrance-hall or corridor furnishings. TRICIA can also provide general ceiling lighting in a kitchen or dining room, but one socket alone does not establish how brightly it will light the whole space. Select the bulb's lumen output with the room size and other lights in mind. The fitting is intended for indoor use, not for outdoor installation or humid locations.
