NORLYS Arendal Mini 1561BL LED garden bollard, black, 64 cm, 4 W 3000 K

NORLYS Arendal Mini 1561BL is a black garden bollard standing 64 cm tall, with a square crystal-glass head. The glass is satin-finished on the inside, contrasting with the straight-sided steel body. This BL variant has a RAL 9005 finish and an integrated LED module, so there is no screw-in bulb to choose separately.

Positioning a 64 cm garden light

The body measures 9 × 9 cm across, while the glass section is 11 cm high. This is a low outdoor light for the surroundings of garden paths, house approaches, terraces or driveways, rather than a tall lantern intended to light an entire street. Compare its 64 cm height with nearby planting and low walls before positioning it, so the glass head is not obscured. Keep the bollard outside the usable width of the walkway. Its narrow footprint does not remove the need for a suitable prepared mounting point.

Warm light with phase dimming

The LED module uses 4 W and has a colour temperature of 3000 K. The finished luminaire delivers 330 lm; the light source itself produces 439 lm. Use the former figure when comparing complete fittings. The crystal-glass head leaves the illuminated section exposed rather than hiding it beneath an opaque cap. Brightness can be adjusted with Trailing Edge or Leading Edge phase dimming, using compatible control equipment for the installation. The light source can only be replaced by professional service, not in the same way as a conventional screw-in bulb.

Fixing and finish

The steel body is hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated. Flat surfaces and the clear division between black metal and glass suit modern and modernist garden layouts. NORLYS specifies IP65 and IK06. Fixing uses two 6.8 mm holes spaced 38 mm apart. The 204GA0009 ground anchor and 203ZX0009 concreting anchor are sold separately; the choice depends on the prepared surface. Installation must follow the NORLYS instructions. The manufacturer also notes that the glass may develop an amber colour over time.
